I love a pipe organ and pretty much always apologise to inanimate objects if I bump into them. I don't recall Equinox but I don't think I watched it and hadn't linked the wotld in action theme with Bach.
An entertaining read once again! One never knows where you're going to go with stuff. I can identify with some of those rituals and such like, thankfully mostly from my childhood, though I do still replace large stones into their natural 'sockets' if they get knocked out. I do disagree, however, about the World in Action theme. I loved it. It sounded IMPORTANT.
Thanks for reminding me. (Remember the Arena theme tune, by Brian Eno, and the floating bottle? Excellent!)
Thanks for that Neil. I never know where I’m going to go with a stuff either! 😆. I seem to write the way I think. I plan to write about one thing and then go off on multiple tangents and have to pull them back. It’s just the way my brain works so i should probably just embrace its randomness! 😄
Totally get the putting stones back in their ‘sockets’; that’s a great way of describing it.
And World in Action. . . . I totally get why you loved it. I think it may have been something to do with me being exposed to it as a little kid who was easily scared by things. It may have been a different story if I’d heard it first as an adult. I can appreciate it now! Will have to look up Arena as I can’t quite remember it (probably because it didn’t scare me 😄). I could have gone on for ages about such themes but had to eventually rein myself in.
I canna remember all my past like that Allison; there’s just certain things that stand out vividly for me, usually from what would appear to be the mundane! My thirties are decidedly sketchy if it makes you feel any better! 🤣
I do understand the positive effects of the dramatic music but at the time they scared me so much that I was afraid to see what lay beyond the theme tune! 😂
Sounds like you have certainly balanced out your past misdemeanours. A wildlife hero now! 😃

Thanks for reading Carol 🙏. You would definitely recall Equinox if you had seen it! (Especially when young and impressionable!) 😄

Thanks again!
I wish I could remember my past in such detail Sandra ! Amazing story telling
You have hyper empathy for all the world 🌎

Thanks for reading as always. 🙏
